Bloom is an annual natural science festival held in Copenhagen. It addresses everything from the darkness of the universe to the body's microbes, through talks, walks, concerts, and debates by philosophers, scientists, and artists. The goal is to convey the natural sciences in a contemporary and welcoming manner that engages the participants.
The visual identity for Bloom Festival 2023 is based on the theme "Earth Oddity" and takes a curious look at our strange globe and its unusual existence. We collaborated with 3D artist Caroline Vang to create this year's artwork, which focuses on the blurred borderland between the natural, the artificial, the synthetic, and the organic, inviting us to take a new look at the wonderful and alien nature we are all a part of.
